Accessibility matters. Add alt text field to images when scheduling content. At the moment, it seems images can be uploaded but there is no way to add alt text. This means people using screen readers cannot understand the image.

Commenting to check if you have an update on this. At this stage, accessibility feels like an afterthought.

Serena we're starting working on it.
Consider that Threads automatically generates the alt for the images you post, So visually impaired people are not left completely alone, but we understand it's better if you do set it — working on it!

Luca Restagno appreciate your response. The main issue is that Meta's AI generated alt text feature makes assumptions and reads the image wrong a lot of the time. Users cannot edit the alt text once it is set (so they have to add commentary in additional posts or delete the content and image). That's why having manual alt text is better.

I've just blown out the birthday candles for this feature request (submitted in October 2024). Do you have an update?
I'm not able to use Blacktwist or recommend to others until it is accessibility compliant.
